Battuto un altro record dal Festival Alto Vicentino che quest’anno registra oltre 3000 cortometraggi iscritti, provenienti da ben 107 nazioni. Soltanto dieci, tra questi, ce l’hanno fatta. I corti selezionati come finalisti sono stati votati dalla nostra giuria coordinata dal regista padovano Marco Segato, che ha assegnato i premi per la Miglior regia, la Miglior sceneggiatura, il Miglior montaggio, la Miglior fotografia, la Migliore colonna sonora, per il Miglior interprete e ovviamente quello per il Miglior cortometraggio.

La lista dei corti arrivati in finale comprende i seguenti titoli:
“The Wrong Guy”, di Martin Sofiedal (USA), “That Little “Drive” Thing” di Yoann Luis (Francia), “Game Night” di Jan van Gorkum (Olanda), “Bitchboy” di Måns Berthas (Svezia), “Mirror” di Daniele Barbiero (Italia), “The Long Island Wolf” di Julien Lasseur (USA), “Martians from Mars” di Fernando Trullols (Spagna), “A Father’s day” di Mat Johns (Regno Unito), “M.A.M.O.N. Monitor Against Mexicans Over Worldwide” di Alejandro Damiani (Messico/Uruguay) e “Margie” di Domenico Modafferi (Italia).

Per quanto riguarda il premio AVIS, premio dedicato ai corti che riservano una particolare attenzione a tematiche sociali, i finalisti sono stati:
“Memories of Anna and Me” di Alessandro Ballardin (Italia), “Mattia can fly” di Alessandro Porzio (Italia) e “Aniversario” di Miquel Bixquert (Spagna).

Assieme a questi corti, il pubblico del festival potrà vedere una selezione dei migliori lavori pervenuti in quest’edizione. Nel parco della villa saranno predisposti dei punti proiezione nei quali si potranno vedere cortometraggi di diverso genere e tematica. La lista dei corti comprende:

It’s record again this year for Festival Alto Vicentino – International Shortfilm Festival, with over 3000 shortfilm submissions from 107 countries. Among them though, only ten have made it. The finalists were voted by our jury coordinated by director Marco Segato, who assigned the awards for Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Editing, Best Cinematography, Best Soundtrack, Best Supporting Actor/Actress and Best Short Film.
